I dropped Zephi into my boat but I cant get the menu

Make sure you were not on board when you "dropped" the script. 
Try stand+sit that should fix it.  
If not:

- stand

- rt click, edit the boat, contents tab, click [reset scripts]

- re-board.

If it stil doesn't work contact JoyofRLC Acker.

 

 

I get a message saying "wwc rcvr not found".

WWC boats have 2 scripts  - wwc interpreter, which is essential for Zephi, and wwc receiver, which is not.   The receiver handles comms with windsetters.   Zephi will turn it off to avoid interference.   If your boat doesn't have a receiver script (or its 'hidden' by having a weird names) Zephi simply bypasses that step.

 

I get a message saying "wwc interpreter not found".

This IS important.   This script is essential for Zephi to work (and for that matter wwc wind to work at all!).

If your boat does not use WWC, Zephi will not work.   If it does, the script should be there.   Look in the inventory.   It may have been renamed so Zephi doesnt recognise it.   Contact JoyofRLC Acker for help.

If there is no script with a name resembling WWC Intepreter contact the boat builder.

 

I get a message saying "skip not found".

This may happen occasionally at the beginning of a sail.  We are still investigating, it seems to be due to occasional latency in Google App Engine.  We are trying a couple of things to mitigate.

Meanwhile, the solution for you at this point is simply to try again with whatever you are doing.   It always seems to be quite temporary.
