Foul Play - NOT!

 

Because Zephi taps in to the WWC interpreter (or Trudeau equivalent) it would be possible to change the race wind, not something we like to encourage!  What would be the fun in that?

 

To prevent the less sportive racers from using Zephi to tamper with the weather we built in a lock.

Zephi will be disabled while the skipper is subscrbed to a race.

 

How to use WWC Race Wind

(Of course you need to be in the same sim as a windsetter in race mode*).

First, use the  Zephi Off  button on the main menu.

This will re-activate the WWC Receiver.

When you subscribe to the race (or accept in a Trudeau), Zephi will automatically disconnect.  (You will not be able to bring up the menu, and Zephi will stop getting auto wind from the server).

 

To go back to Zephi

Just Stand and resit.

Thats it.

 

** We currently cannot automatically disable Zephi when the RD does not use the race wind function in the WWC windsetter.   But thats deprecated anyway.
